ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - May 25, 2018
 

The U.S. dollar index, which tracks the greenback against six major rivals, fell 0.26 percent to 93.758 on Thursday after U.S. President Donald Trump scrapped a summit meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and as traders booked profits following the greenback's recent rally. The euro was up 0.20 percent to 1.1719 against the greenback. Against the yen, the dollar slid 0.75 percent at 109.24. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1940 and $1.1630 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 111.50 and 108.00 respectively.
