ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - October 31, 2018
 

The dollar rose 0.45 percent to a 16-month high at 97.011 against a basket of major currencies on Tuesday, as U.S. consumer confidence hit the year-to-end high in October.  The euro fell 0.24 percent to $1.1344 against the greenback. Against the yen, the dollar was up 0.64 percent at 113.08. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1494 and $1.1194 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 114.58 and 111.58 respectively.
