ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - October 9, 2018
 

The dollar index rose 0.14 percent to 95.761 versus a currency basket Monday on a spat between Italy and the European Union over Rome's budget plans. The euro fell 0.29 percent to $1.1490. Against the yen, the dollar was down 0.41 percent at 113.23. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1640 and $1.1340 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 114.73 and 111.73 respectively.
