ICBC Global Market: Oil and Other Commodities Market Update - October 10, 2018
 

Oil prices rose on Tuesday on growing evidence of falling Iranian crude exports before the imposition of new U.S. sanctions, as well as a partial production shutdown in the Gulf of Mexico because of Hurricane Michael. Front-month U.S. crude futures rose 0.61 percent at $74.67 a barrel. Front-month Brent crude futures firmed 1.31 percent, at $84.86 a barrel. The spread between the two benchmarks stood at $10.19 a barrel.
