ICBC Global Market: Precious Metal Market Update - June 14, 2018
 

Gold prices rose 0.29 percent to $1,299.31 an ounce on Wednesday as the Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s remark that it’s risky to raise interest rates too fast and no sign shows that inflation would surge boosted the yellow metal after a short-lived slump following the U.S. Central bank’s decision to raise interest rates. Silver gained 0.86 percent to 17.00 an ounce.
