ICBC Global Market: RMB Interest Rate Market Update - October 16, 2018
 

Liquidity eased on Monday. Overnight repo rates fell around 6 bps at 2.3989 percent, and 7-day repo rates were little changed at 2.6085 percent. Yields of cash T-bonds diverged in steadied trading. 1-year T-bonds yields slipped 1.75 bps at 2.835 percent; 5-year T-bonds inched up 0.5 bps to yield 3.375 percent; 10-year T-bonds added 0.5 bps to yield 3.595 percent. Yields of financial bonds were mixed in stable trading. 1-year bonds issued by China Development Bank slid 3 bps to yield 2.89 percent; 5-year bonds issued by the Bank were up 1 bp to yield 3.915 percent; and 10-year bonds gained 1.25 bps to yield 4.1675 percent.
