ICBC Builds Quick Channels for Fee Payment
 

ICBC e-payment, a service platform developed by ICBC to focus on convenient fee payment, has extended to most daily utility charges in recent years. For example, the electricity bill payment service has covered 292, or 90%, of all cities at the prefecture level or above in China. With ICBC e-payment, customers can use ICBC internet banking or mobile banking to quickly handle payment business without going to utility enterprises or bank outlets.

ICBC e-payment service platform currently provides as many as 41 types of fee payment services, which can be divided into basic life service, other life service and business service. The basic life service covers water, electricity and gas fee, communication fee, cable TV expense, heating costs, etc. The other life service covers CPC and trade union membership dues, traffic fines, bus card charges, ETC charge, etc. The business service covers education and training expense, property service charge etc.

In addition, with access to ICBC e-payment, utility enterprises can use ICBC corporate internet banking to make inquiry, download payment details and keep updated of payment collection at any time and place, which simplifies the charging process and saves financial costs.
