In line with national policies such as commercial system reform to facilitate innovation and entrepreneurship in recent years, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has established a one-stop service platform Enterprise Express,integrating financial and public services to drive mass innovation and entrepreneurship. Statistics show that ICBC has provided services for nearly 500,000 small and micro-sized businesses  via Enterprise Express since 2014.

An official with ICBC said that Enterprise Express is an innovative service model for bank outlets, technology platforms and governments to share information resources, in which financial services are extended to the whole chain ranging from preparation, establishment to operation of small businesses. Firstly, in cooperation with relevant authorities such as industry and commerce bureau, ICBC allows entrepreneurs to go through formalities such as industrial and commercial registration and account opening through local outlets free of charge, which not only provides sufficient processing windows, but also shortens processing time. Secondly, by leveraging its technology platforms and service network, ICBC has integrated public and financial services to extend corporate registration channels from paper work to electronic approval and internet-based channels, strengthening financial support for real economy development.

In addition, ICBC has launched Enterprise Express services based on local characteristics. For example, based on service for industrial and commercial registration, ICBC has leveraged strengths in technology to solve online identity verification issues during the whole-process electronic reform of industry and commerce administrations through ICBC’s personal e-banking USB-Shield, which enables small businesses to complete industrial and commercial registration online. In Jiangsu Province, bankcards and electronic business licenses are creatively integrated to co-brand cards – “Peony ICBC Express” and “Caizhi ICBC Express” , which has reduced corporate registration costs and driven the growth of small businesses while expanding the usage scope of electronic business licenses.
