ICBC Launches the First Health-care Credit Card in China
 

On November 23, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China launched China’s first credit card exclusively for healthcare workers – ICBC Healthcare Credit Card. Targeted at people working in hospitals, community health-care centers, professional medical institutions, medical research organizations, health oversight agencies, etc., it is designed to provide a full spectrum of value-added financial services for millions of health-care workers.

According to sources from the ICBC Peony Card Center, the Card is equipped with exclusive value-added rights and interests, and diversified discount benefits for people of medical and health-care industry. For example, eligible cardholders can enjoy a 6% cash rebate on spending on the International Doctors’ Day (March 30), International Nurses’ Day (May 12) and Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November) as well as a chance of winning a RMB50 Didichuxing gift voucher each month, etc. Besides, there are also benefits such as free aviation accident insurance, travel inconvenience insurance, account security insurance, platinum card free of annual fee for the first year, and half-price for the second year. In addition, cardholders can also participate in the ICBC “I Go Global”, “I Go Weekend”, and “I Go QR” promotional activities, winning special offers of 21% cash back at maximum, 50% off bargains or payment discount, as well as half-price snapping up, discount film tickets, etc. via the ICBC e-Lifestyle APP.
