ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - November 14, 2016
 

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six major rivals, rose to a nine-month high of 99.060 as investors bet that Trump’s policy would raise inflation. The euro fell 0.36 percent to a three-month low against the greenback to $1.0850. Against the yen, the dollar pared most earlier losses and closed down 0.13 percent to 106.67. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1020 and $1.0780 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 107.90 and 105.30 respectively.
