ICBC Global Market: FX Market Update - November 9, 2016
 

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six major rivals, rose to 97.861 on Tuesday as investors bet on victory for Hillary Clinton in the U.S. presidential election after polls showed Clinton taking lead over Trump in several key states. The euro fell 0.14 percent against the greenback to $1.1023. Against the yen, the dollar was up 0.66 percent to 105.14. The euro is expected to meet resistance and support against the dollar at $1.1200 and $1.0800 respectively, while the dollar is expected to meet resistance and support against the yen at 106.50 and 103.00 respectively.
