ICBC Global Market: Oil and Other Commodities Market Update - December 21, 2016
 

Oil prices edged up on Tuesday as the API data showed a drawdown of 4.15 million barrels in U.S oil stockpiles, well above analysts’ forecast of 2.425 million barrels. But a stronger dollar still capped the gains. The front-month in WTI rose 0.19 percent to $52.22 a barrel. The front-month in Brent crude futures closed up 0.85 percent to $55.54 a barrel. The spread between the two benchmarks stood at $3.32 a barrel.
